Yes: I am saying that my white lion (Echeyakee) turned into a black lion (and now looks just like Humar the Pridelord). I am an Alliance Hunter, but my friend called out the white lion while doing the quest on her Horde character. She did this so I could tame it. This was about three years ago. The skin turned black though when 4.3 came out.

Blizzard Store has released the mount Heart of Aspects. The cost is 25$ for US or 20€ for EU.

Not sure if you’re still reading this, but they added a new mount for the Love is in the Air holiday; the Swift Lovebird (a pink tallstider, sold by the goblins running the even for 270 love tokens).

One of the items so far ‘confirmed’ for MoP is achievements that require multiple characters to accomplish. Another possible is Mounts that spread across an account.

I think either of these possibilities could benefit from general mounts (Rep grinds, rare drops) that are available to both factions being moved from the Alliance and Horde pages to their own page.
