Lassirra from the Hunter’s Mark is hosting a special THM chat session in the THM chat room tonight at 9pm EDT.
It’s special because there are special guests: namely me and Pike from Aspect of the Hare. The topic: hunter pets, of course!
I’ve been a bit brain-fried lately so I’m not sure how much good I’ll be, but I fully expect Pike and Lassirra to make up for my deficits. *grin*
Of course the big news for Beast Mastery hunters in Patch 3.2 is Skoll, the newest and first non-cat-like Spirit Beast.
In addition to posting one of the many lovely screenshots I’ve seen of this beast, I also wanted to point you guys at the Arcania forum thread where many hunters are coordinating information about spawn locations and times.
I’m sure there are other great resources for Skoll building out there, so feel free to share links in the comments.

Somehow I phased out and missed the start of Children’s Week — and the Child’s Play auction that Brigwyn at The Hunting Lodge has organized to help raise money for real world children at the same time.
Both of these events started yesterday, but there is still plenty of time to get involved!
Child’s Play is a gamer-based charity that collects donations of toys, games, books and cash for sick kids in children’s hospitals across North America and the world.
Children’s Week is an in-game event in which the heroes of both the Horde and the Alliance lavish time and attention on the orphans of war.
Brigwyn at The Hunting Lodge is bringing these two child-oriented events together in a very special charity auction.
Normally I don’t respond to being tagged with internet memes. There’s just too many to keep up with. But Guntitan has a valid complaint that I’ve done very little substantive posting since the beginning of the year. And he’s giving me an opportunity to correct that.
I should clarify before I start that I’m answering these questions based on the character Mania. (Although as it happens she and I are the same age. I know my own birthday, though.)

Today Big Red Kitty announced his (temporary?) retirement from WoW as he rededicates himself to his family.

And I would like to suggest that Blizzard honor him somehow. Maybe a rare tameable Red Kitty somewhere. Or a non-combat pet (red kitty of course) but if you can’t do that then just give us a Dwarf Hunter roaming around IF saying things like “fo’ shizzle” and asking for a rasberry Latte.
