Level 39 … er … 38! And 85! Again!
Yesterday was my birthday. I am now 38 years old. I spent about half the day thinking I was 39 until I sat down and did the math. But this is still better than last year, when I spent several months thinking I was only 36 instead of 37. Regardless, I’m getting up there.
I spent yesterday reading (In the Blood by Adrian Phoenix), playing WoW, and napping. My big accomplishment of the day: I finally got a second character to max level. Yes, I now have both a Horde and Alliance main at level 85.
NaNoWriMo Update
A month back, I mentioned that I was participating in NaNoWriMo - National Novel Writing Month – this year. The goal of NaNoWriMo is to write a 50,000 word novel in one month.
I got less than halfway – 22,089 words. Now I have reasons: I got a late start, my insomnia went insane, our rat Margaret developed a tumor and had to have surgery (she’s doing well). And so on.
I’m a little disappointed that I didn’t do better, but regardless I am happy that I have a good set of characters and an interesting plot (I think) and I intend to continue writing this story. (Among other things, I bet Eric that I could write a book by the end of the year.)
My MoP Talents Choices
This is why I’m not all that excited about the talent changes in the Mists of Pandaria expansion. Given the way I play, these are my choices, for every character from here on out.
Now admittedly I don’t vary my talent choices much right now, but at least I think about it sometimes.
