After 3 days of logging in and out I could finally spot and tame Snort. He didn’t have Cower as standard skill, though. Is this intended?

Ok,thanks. I’ll check the area once in a while with my druid to see if he’s there. He should be on a 2-3 hours respawn timer, but the frequent world server downs/reboots may cause irregularities here.

nobbie: I found Snort pretty much in his old area. He was near the low bushes full of lions, between the northern-most not-in-the-green centaur hut and the mountains. I hope that helps – I’m sorry I don’t have coordinates for you.

where did you see Snort the Heckler? I’m trying to get him for my undead hunter, but no luck so far in the old known places (WotLK wowhead reference).

Hi Mania,

Long story short and running into that can’t get into the Lost Isles server glitch due to a premade, I was running my goblin rogue around Durator last night doing quests (I’m playing off the EU server) and I saw some yellow thistle boars in Durator. Made my heart jump for joy as I love that model’s color and was happy I wouldn’t have to run to Mulgore to get one!

It’s a shame about the tigers being gone from Durotar, but at the same time I think it might be kind of neat for them to become that special pet that you look forward to getting at a higher level.

The black panther skin was like that. They were inaccessible until you hit 30, so it was sort of a nice milestone if you were after one as a hunter. The tigers will really seem unique to encounter them for the first time in STV, at least that’s how I see it.

Kalli: I can’t find a mention of the Evalcharr on the forums. Do you remember where that was by any chance? I’d love to have him pinned down. And re hydras in Azshara: I didn’t see any. I’d forgotten they used to be there, actually.

Hrmm…given that the tigers are gone, I will definitely be keeping an eye out for the STV Safari as that is supposed to change pretty massively and that’s the only other place they seem to be.

One question about Azshara: are the hydras still there? Just curious if the changes to the quests gave them the boot. They certainly looked different than most other hydras.

I think someone posted on the Petopia forums about the Evalcharr still being up, but if he’s not on the spreadsheet, well, it’s not been confirmed then. xD
