'Malanore' has been my hunter's loyal companion since level 10 (yes, she made a special trip to Durotar after I spotted this particular skin on Petopia, thanks Mania!) Scorpids are really very underappreciated, it's sad. I've only ever spotted two other hunters with a scorpid pet, and none at all with the beige skin. I recently started an Orc hunter and had planned on taming a corrupted scorpid but while i was wandering around trying to find one I stumbled across a clattering scorpid. I don't know what it was exactly that made me decide to tame it instead but since then I have come to really appreciate its looks. its is far more subtle then its black and red brethren but I wouldn't trade him for anything. Now I just need to come up with a name for him.... I totally agree with you. However, it's like opening a repulsive-looking oystershell to find a gorgeous pearl inside. These scorpids would actually be hard to see due to their plain camouflage so that would give hunters an advantage PvP-wise. I have actually tamed one of these cute guys on one of my hunters just so my mind won't be set on those bright blue scorpids or the blue-spotted silver scorpid I love so much.
