Comments on: PTR 3.3: Spectral Bear?

Got Arcturis today (Dec23) after 15-20 half-hearted passes by Amberpine Lodge. I’d set my hearth there (since I have the Kirin Tor ring I can still go to Dalaran) and whenever I log on I would hearth to Amberpine, fly down the hillside and not finding Arcturis (but finding anothr 1-5 hunters camping) I’d go on my way to do whatever I was going to do.

Today, I log in, fly down and there he is, with nary a hunter in sight. I couldn’t dismount and abandon my wolf fast enough.

So here I sit with all 4 spirit beasts and a the crock-o-slime in my Pokeball (i.e. stable); none are great raiding pets, but I don’t care. Here’s wishing Blizz would allow hunters to purchase additional stable slots (like personal bank slots). Heck, make each one significantly more – if someone wants to pay 10K gold for a 10th stable slot, why not?

The poser is, do I abandon a spirit beast or the no longer tamable crock-o-slime?

aaah is there any chanse to give us more extra stable slots ! :(
if blizz is gonna add new beasts … specialy spirit beasts so whats the point of keeping stable slots in 5* ?
i got 3 rare & 1 retired pet & a cat for last spot that i cant let him go :D so i cant have a wolf for raids or spider for pvp or … TAME new SP :(

*5 is LOW for hunters stable :D*

Side note – thought his name looked hella familiar, so I put it into Wiki. Here’s the first answer it gave me…

Arcturus (α Boo / α Boötis / Alpha Boötis) is the brightest star in the constellation Boötes. With a visual magnitude of −0.05, it is also the third brightest star in the night sky, after Sirius and Canopus. It is, however, fainter than the combined light of the two main components of Alpha Centauri, which are too close together for the eye to resolve as separate sources of light, making Arcturus appear to be the fourth brightest. It is the second brightest star visible from northern latitudes and the brightest star in the northern celestial hemisphere. The star is in the Local Interstellar Cloud.

An easy way to find Arcturus is to follow the arc of the handle of the Plough. By continuing in this path, one can find Spica (α Virginis) as well—hence the maxim, “Arc to Arcturus, then speed on to Spica.”

* Arcturus Group, a consultancy based in Brussels

=) Just FYI. And yeah, I know wiki changed the name, but there were no results for the original spelling. That’s the closest I could get.

Thank you! I’m not probably going to try for him on live though, as I already have three ferocity pets (two of them Spirit Beasts). If he were tenacity, I would trade my current polar bear for him in a heartbeat.
