Bloated pet trees!!
Well they could shave them down by removing alot of the 2 bottom row talents and give them to all pets like the dive/dash talent and the charge talent and boar speed cause everyone or most everyone gives them to their pets see there is 3 away from the tree right there!! I did my final leveling with a Rhino and the stampede was excellent!! I didnt mind the rhinos size but never raided with them.. We all know exotics are suppose to be some what stronger and spirit beasts even a little more Whatmade me toss the Rhino was the stampede change was a great AoE for aggro but those in pvp pissed in moan and was nerfed and changed!! Yet the droods typhoon wasnt nerfed or the Shamans storm? why not they do the same thing the old stampede did knock your target or opponent back!! Many time I found myself blown off cliffs bridges Etc.. glad I am an engineer and made a parachute add on to my cloak lol but dont help in EoTS no bottom.. lol Was I correct seeing that blizz wants us to use more melee in close encounters? are we gonna do more damage or maybe more slowing hits besides wingclip like a rend or hamstring? Fix our Deterence? Why not a temp 2 pet effect for BM’s that at least have your pet clone itself for a few? like shammy ghostwolves??? If we are spending the 51 talent for exotics then like before beef them up if not lower that talent and give us a shot or a very special pet skill??

You know one of the best things i ever had in game on my hunter, esp as BM, was the T5 armour where damage dealt healed your pet – man I’d accept that as a new 51 point BM hunter talent like a shot!

so if the extremely specialized beast master is taming the gods of the trolls I do believe they should be more than a pretty skin and a druid lookalike spell ability. their unique status should be reflected in their performance and give ample reward for the hardship of taming them.
ppl will always QQ about something but in all honesty- if you are not willing to pay the cost of specializing you should not expect to get the benefit of it through less costly manner.

Knew there was another pet health number I meant to be provide: with zero health increasing talents in my raiding SV spec, my wolf hit 22k health fully buffed in a 10-man Malygos raid (that was with Fort, Kings, Mark of the Wild, Commanding Shout and buff food for both me and the pet).

This is a spirit beast, or a beast powerful enough to be considered gods by the trolls. Not a panther summoned from the immaterial plane. *Laughs* And thankfully Guen can’t do anything like the spirit beasts can. I’m already angry at Salvatore for where he is trying to take Drizz’t, I don’t know that I could possibly forgive him if Guen started shooting lasers out of her eyes.

I think the 51 BM talent can be buffed to add a few slots to the stable- to account for exotics- these slots will be faded out of touch when respecing- without losing the pets.

the exotic pets should be buffed to represent their special status.
and I would be happy with a single extra point to the pet talents- 5 instead of 4.

as for spirit beasts- if they will become a generic added new skin to the family- will they keep the special family ability? furious howl with spirit strike?- this would more honestly represent the family the spirit beast rose from.

finally- be happy that shamans and druids do not whine the spirit beast should belong to them. after-all it is part of the shamanic and druidic traditional lore in common fantasy.
and speaking of common fantasy- be greatful spirit beasts are not limited by time in the material realm (drizzt and Guenhwyvar fans anyone?) like the shaman spirit wolves are.

Yup yup Nimizar. I was speaking of feral cat form druids. And yea, one of the great joys of The beast within is that priceless look on Rogues or druids faces when cheap shot or pounce doesn’t work. Or seeing a chains of ice spring up under you and do….nothing! Though I think death grip still works, annoyingly. I hate that skill.

@Rikaku: by “cat” when talking about stealth I figured Palla meant kitty druids.

Teaching one of the kids in my guild about this marvellous thing called “The Beast Within” is still one of the more amusing memories I have from TBC (“Why didn’t Kidney Shot work?!”). I waited until *after* the duel to explain that “Big Red Hunter” = “run away until it wears off” :)

@Riojin: don’t be too worried if you don’t receive a blue response to your thread. Blues often stay away from threads to avoid derailing them with irrelevant QQ. Added a few thoughts anyway.
