Patch 3.1 is Live!
Patch 3.1, the most recent long-awaited content patch for World of Warcraft, is now live and available on US servers! (Realms are just now starting to come up as I write this.)
I feel like I’ve already spent half my life talking about Patch 3.1, so rather than do any more I’m just going to point you at various bits of information.
Patch 3.1: Pet Ability Changes
Word on the street is that Patch 3.1 hits tomorrow. We’ll know soon enough, of course!
[Edit: While I was typing up this monster post the patch was confirmed for tomorrow. Which is now today in my time zone. *sigh* I need to learn to type faster. Or possibly just get started earlier.]
But in the meantime I figured I’d better get ready to update Petopia. In the process, I went through all the pet abilities (skills and talents) looking for changes. And I made a list!
Glyphing the Lackadaisical Hunter
Mission accomplished: My little insane Death Knight has gotten me to log into WoW more this past week without immediately getting confused and disenchanted and logging back out.
On the other hand, she’s mostly just been collecting flowers and pretty gems and occasionally beating the snot out of innocent pterodaxi in Un’Goro. And while she’s fun enough to play, she’s not really satisfying my WoW itch quite right. Apparently I really am addicted to hunters.
So I started thinking (again!) about projects for Mania. I came up with something I think I’ll enjoy (which I’ll tell you about in more detail later). But the first step is getting Mania set up properly.
In Which I Participate
Normally I don’t respond to being tagged with internet memes. There’s just too many to keep up with. But Guntitan has a valid complaint that I’ve done very little substantive posting since the beginning of the year. And he’s giving me an opportunity to correct that.
I should clarify before I start that I’m answering these questions based on the character Mania. (Although as it happens she and I are the same age. I know my own birthday, though.)
