Child’s Play for Children’s Week
Child’s Play is a gamer-based charity that collects donations of toys, games, books and cash for sick kids in children’s hospitals across North America and the world.
Children’s Week is an in-game event in which the heroes of both the Horde and the Alliance lavish time and attention on the orphans of war.
Brigwyn at The Hunting Lodge is bringing these two child-oriented events together in a very special charity auction.
In short, WoW bloggers and others are donating goods and services for The Hunting Lodge to auction off, with all proceeds going to Child’s Play. The auction will run for a week, from May 1 to May 7.

I’m honored to be participating as well. I’m donating one free item from Mania’s Arcania Emporia — my Cafe Press store. For previous charity auctions I’d donated a Petopia calendar, but it being almost May already I figured a more flexible option might be better.
So the winner of the auction for my item can choose a Petopia calendar if they like. Or … maybe a Loque’nahak mousepad? Or how about a Tyrantus BBQ apron? Or my favorite, a Blacksting thong …
And there are plenty of other cool items available for auction also! BRK put up several of his very popular pet shirts, there’s art books and photos and comics and more. So go take a look and be ready to bid come May 1st!

Hey Mania, do you have many alliance characters hunting for you for the Meta-bunny ears thing? My server hardly has any female orcs, they are the rarest of the rare. I think in my hunting I only saw one…had to parachute onto the roof in the horde section of Dalaran just to bunny-ear zap her.
