On a side note, a couple of weeks back, I saw BRK on my server! First I noticed his sprit beast, since they are kinda rare, and when I moused over, I thought that the name “Bigredkitty” looked familiar…

Did a quick search, found out why, was able to confirm with an inspect (matched a screenshot on the blog), and /waved. :-)

I’ve been playing on the Test Server. What I’ve done is re-do my dailies and run strat and other things I do for fun with my Gorilla. The nerf is definitely felt. However it’s not OMG IT SUCKS. It’s just “meh” you have to fire Volley one more time to finish off the same pack of mobs. Gorilla agro is fine however.

Loque’nahak is STILL not fixed. His Longevity bug is, but he’s not getting the ferocity family damage bonus. Also, he’s not a cat, why does he have Prowl?? They should take that crap off.

BRK’s shirts of course, transcend all that crap. I’m getting one of each. :)

to Drina – Its possible that I may have been jumping the gun on the gorillas – but if you have been following the previous news concerning the future patch, it seems that the BM tree is taking a hit with the upcoming new patch that lowers Hunter’s over-all dps down a notch as the changes almost seems like it targets that tree to me (tho no news yet abt how it is on the PTR, so I am hoping it will not be bad — but knowing bliz, they may as well just be…). So, I apologize if it looks like I painted a wrong picture……… but for now, its a “wait-and-see” thing as I get what I can out of my hunter and gorilla til then.

I love the Gorilla T Shirt but the Core Hound one did crack me up as it was always an MC tagline.. Loot the Dog!

As an aside whats this about after the nerf patch? What is happening to Gorillas that I have missed? Or are you just referring to the BM pet talent nerfs in general? As it stands I am MM and I rarely pull aggro off my Gorilla and I do much higher burst than a BM.

Oh joy!!! The Gorilladin shirt had me in stitches laughing! …and kind of sad that after the nerf patch, they may not be that way anymore. I don’t care what any other die-hards say about having a gorilla as a pet, but for me, they are perfect for soloing and farming — especially soloing – when it’s hard to find a group that can help take down an “almost” soloable elite. I’d just send in my gorilla and unload shot rotation after shot rotation with a couple of heals and the target is dead. Epic gorilla shirt coz later it may be gone with the wind.
