Community Round-Up: After the Wrath
Technically speaking, some of these links I wanted to share are from before Wrath of the Lich King launched. As usual, I am that far behind!
Pike at Aspect of the Hare offers a quick guide to resurrecting a hunter character that you haven’t played in awhile.
Ihlos at Big Red Rhino has been recording the heck out of pet tanking feats, so swing by when you have a chance and take a gander at the latest pet tanking exploits. His Ask a Rhino segment also recently had some nice answers one what enchantments, gems, and glyphs are more useful for pet tanking. (And may I say that I just love seeing equipment posts aimed at what will benefit the pets!)
Halfdragon at Aspect of the Druid posted a nice guide to taming the Ghost Saber. Since these lovely transparent cats no longer require strenuous leveling all the way from level 20, I expect that they will be more popular then ever. (On the other hand, they have some fierce competition from other ghostly pets now!)
I can’t remember if I posted this already or not — it’s been several weeks, but you know how bad I am at keeping up with things — but Faeldray at Petoholics Anonymous has added Wrath pet families to her Pet-o-licious Namerator. That’s a seriously handy tool for naming pets.
The lovely batgrl from Warcraft and Other Hooha has posted a short article on the Vargul Blighthound and some (unfortunately untameable) relatives. As always, batgrl takes great pics!
Oh, and if you missed it, Fimlys from Asleep at the WoW posted a write-up of our adventures waiting in line for the midnight release of WotLK. (Yes, I’m the fat chick in purple in the lower picture.)

For “Big Red Rhino’s” pet tanking, I don’t agree with the monkey tank. Big rhinos are the way to go!
I’ve read a good number of these posts: and they’re all great articles!
I believe that Big Red Rhino has one of the most interesting things going on: tanking hunters. That’s right baby, WE’RE HYBRIDS! Well, almost.
OMG IRL MANIA! i’m excited.
That’s called “fluffy” hon. Trust me, I’m the resident expert on fluff.
You look cute and sweet. Just right for the sort of person you are (Cute and sweet!)
