Level 70 (and under!) Wrath Pets

Isn’t it great when other people write your posts for you so you don’t have to? Here I was going to do a round-up of level 70 pets in Wrath that you can tame immediately, and then I saw that Tinuviel at steady shot had already written it up for me! (Well, mostly. *grin*) Thanks, Tinuviel!

I will add only this: You can use Petopia’s Advanced Pet Search to get a handy somewhat sortable list of level 70 Wrath pets by setting the Expansion field to Wrath Only, Tameable to Tameable Only, and the Max Level to 70. Or just use this scary-looking URL:

http://petopia.brashendeavors.net/html/browse/search_advanced.php?q=1&max_level=70&tameable=1&expansion=4

… assuming Petopia is up, of course.

[edit] Whoops! To be most useful, you probably want to look for pets that are *under* level 70, not just level 70. I’ve fixed the link above, and that adds a whole bunch more pets.

There’s truly something for everyone in Northrend — including a level 6 carrion bird bird of prey!

I’m counting the hours until I can get that gorgeous level 71 pure white moth! I have a tan one right now, but she’s the one I -really- want.

Rhino or fuzzy worm….hmm which to try out first? lol. Parked at the docks and ready to head on over, of course those eagles look tempting to…

is it just me or has anyone else thought how cool it would be to “Hide IN your Rhino” during pvp?

First thing I’m doing is getting on the boat to Borean Thundra and rushing to get the fuzzy worm. Been waiting for it for so long! Tried the Azeroth ones, works great but I really don’t like their looks as much as the Jormungars.

Hehe – glad to help out Mania!

Actually, I had just worked out I needed to do an advanced search for under level 70 and not just level 70 pets, when Petopia unexpected went offline. You are just too popular :>) and we can’t do without Petopia. I usually go to the Wowhead links on the Petopia site too, to look at the maps and locations of the pets, but Petopia is my first port of call.

    You’re right — it’s a carrion bird. Can you tell I’m distracted today? :>

I took my 70 hunter to Northrend and tamed one of those awe-inspiring Worms they have there. He is an amazing pet. I think worms are the least annoying of the exotics (no stomping, no huge wings that get in your way), and they have some excellent skills.
