Community Round-Up: It’s Later Than You Think
Can you believe that we have less than 48 hours until the Wrath of the King launches? I can’t! Somehow I lost track of time. Just … completely lost track! This is awful! I still have so much to do!
Luckily, most of the WoW community is way ahead of me! Here’s a bunch of links I kept meaning to share before Wrath snuck up on us.
First off, a number of people have done some nice pet reviews:

I know how you feel. time snuck up on uS. Sorry I am doing this on
my iPod.it is very hard.
I have TOO MUCH TO DO! I just hit 70 last friday on my MAIN and I don’t have my first flyer yet, I need to work on inscription, fishing, leveling pets, getting to exalted with Argent Dawn, getting my epic flyer… And yet I need to get to Northrend for RP reasons. I want to be on the first zeppelin there. Although, I just don’t think it can be done. :(
Also, anyone hear about a multi-dragon attack on Org last night? I’m missing EVERYTHING!!
And @ Thtswatshed: You can type on iPods now? And go on the internet? Creepy.

Yup. Org and SW Harbor have been attacked by the Scourge, including abominations and a frost wyrm air assault taskforce.
Reinforcing the fact that Bliz likes Hordies better than us, Horde gets a great lore-based squabble between the son of Hellscream and Thrall, while all we blue-teamers get is an angry Variann.
(Well. He IS impressively angry. He two-shots the aboms with their 30k of health. Ouch.)

wow. that’s about as untrue as it gets xD
If Bliz loved us (The Horde) so much, we would have our very own special race mount (Winterspring Frostsaber mount) and allow us to do the quest for the Sprite Darter. =/
Loremaster is also a lot easier to get as alliance. there’s about ~250 “more” quests in total for the alliance.
These only help remind me why I’m boycotting Wrath until Tallstriders get a better Racial.
That and the broken state of Engineering.
And the Tauren mount situation.
And the current incarnation of Freezing Arrow.
And… I have no money.
But mostly the Tallstrider thing.
If I recall correctly most of the major Blizz devs have said at some point or other that they much prefer the Horde =P But I will refrain from hijacking comments because I <3 both factions equally!
Thanks for all the hard work you put into this site Mania, hunters everywhere thank you profusely. Also, love the community roundup posts, it’s great to see what other hunters have to say about stuff!

*Blinks* Are you guys serious? Have you even played through as both factions? The horde in general have better quest lines, better quest hubs, better quest rewards, better racials ((Most of the hordes racials scale, while the alliance has a grand total of one scaling racial, for example, though this gap was lessened in 3.0.3)) and don’t even get me started about AV formerly. I have five seventies of alliance and one seventy of horde, and I can assure you that the horde get the edge in quality for almost everything. The reasoning has always been that Blizzard wanted people to actually play the horde, since way back in the day there was a serious imbalance between horde and alliance.
*coughs* I rambled. My copy of Wrath will be a little late, but I am unconcerned. First thing I am doing is getting a rhino…..
*Edited for clarification* The imbalance was in numbers.

My pre-order is in the mail, it’s arriving tomorrow (wednesday), I’m not gonna go nuts with the panicky ZOMG 1ST DAY OF LK MUST DO AWSUM THINGS. Just gunna enjoy exploring and pwnaging in PvE again with my Hunter & Silithid / Ghost wolf (No ugly gorilla for me, thanks). And then create the obligatory spam-knight ofcoz xD

Well, as I am in a time zone far, far away I have no idea if DarkWolff’s post is recent or not. I guess I’ll just go ahead and say that Petopia is still offline. I get the same error message.
Thanks for the heads up everyone, Mania and I are getting the issue resolved and hope to have Petopia back online very quickly!

The WOW forums have crashed now, or at least I can’t get them up.
I am torn between Going to northrend on my Druid or hunter first…Maybe my druid because of my flier, scout out the place and then bring in the hunter. Just tamed myself one of the Armoured worgs from BF. found out that Feriouse howl stacks with Call of the wild for a huge stat bonus. I feel the power!!!! Looks like I’ll be keeping Kalmfang until I find a Blighthound (hopefully still tamable)
Means I’ll have:
My best buddy Nanaki (hyena)
Pop n’ Gank ya Bahamut (Warp chaser)
Howl of power Kalmfang (armoured worg/Blighthound)
A.D.H.D on Drugs Materia (silithid)
Which leaves opening to test out that Fuzzy worm and wolly rhino…dunno which I’ll like better. And eventually I’ll probably see what’s up with Spirit beasts…
I get to stand in line for a midnight release at the store….good thing its only a 10min walk from home!!
that was a sight seeing the attack on Org last night. Thank god, I was able to hightale it out (I was on my lvl 61 Tauren hunter). Everything else was high up there. Then made it to Crossroads, where a skunky lvl 70 human skunk was attacking everything with their lacky 29 human pet. So, I let loose with the BRM (Big Red Monkey, until I can come up with a name) killed the lvl 29 lacky by accident (OMG, them Monkey’s are great!), and helped killed the lvl 70. Sorry, but don’t folks have better things to do than attack a town center on a pve server killing the flight master and regular npc townies? :) We are not sure if we are going to get the WotLK tomorrow night or not. Still too much to do in BC. Might have to wait till Friday. I already know there is no hope in hell to get a deluxe edition. (the music! Thats all I want).

We had SO much fun with the Flamingo Army – I’m thinking we’ll have to take them to Northrend as soon as we can get all our folk over there.

Holy flamingos! funnily enouge, i was in shatt when it happened a few days ago (but i’m horde), but what are the chances of me finding a site all about that?!?! lol, and its nice to see some more Windrunner-ie’s on the web!
