Here’s some cool links to check out while you wait for the realms to come back up with Patch 3.0.

Pike from Aspect of the Hare has finally finished her “So You Want to Play a Hunter?” series. Part 12 covers what to do at level 70.
WoW Insider has a quick write-up on the new built-in aggro meter in Patch 3.0. As they mention, it’s pretty lightweight if you are used to heavy-duty threat meter add-ons, but for hunters like me who don’t have any experience with those add-ons it’s a useful addition. Just remember that you have to turn it on if you want to see it outside of instances.
BRK has a great post on how to get a red Core Hound from Molten Core. And don’t forget to check out his extensive list of pet movies when your considering what to tame today!

Sigh…. according to the news post at the side of my WoW log-in screen and my computer clock, 9 minutes left until Etrigg comes online. I envy the people whos realms are already up.
Ah well, a good chance for me to update the few addons that are ready for the patch… and to do some more Pet voting. XD

Ahhhh so bored…. they need to fix these realm issues!!!! but the tech support servers are bogged down so I can’t report my problem… Curse these wonderful patches!
Well, I was able to tame my Core Hound before my realm went offline again…no competition at all.

It was fun having my “little” puppy stomp around shattarath. Although it has a habit of looking in the opposite direction of my character, so it was kind of hard to get that screen.
not being to log in=bad:( more time wasting til servers work right yah =/
I got in, but not on my server(s). Very cool, but the achivment thing is annoying at times. Like, when people around you get something, it shows up in yellow letters in chat and goes “ding!!” Ding!DING!DINGDINGDING!!!!

I was able to get online, thankfully, not too long after my earlier post, had a lto fo fun playing around with things before I had to log out for breakfast… and now I can’t log back in. I get the “unable to connect” error.
I had a LOT of fun playing around while I was online. BRK wasn’t lying, Gorilladin tanking is sooooo fun. I went into Old Hillsbrad with my brother’s holy priest, and despite my Gorilla still being only level 65, he was handling himself against 4 mobs pretty well. A few agro issues, but that’s to be expected.
One thing that sucked though was a very annoying bug that happened not too long after Eitrigg went up. There was a wierd sort of DC, where you could do things for about 1 minute, but when you logged back in the things you did didn’t happen. And if you were really unlucky and you were “learning” your mini-pets or mounts, there was a chance that when you logged back in, your pet was gone from both your spellbook and your inventory. I lost my Crimson Whelpling to this bug, he was a Birthday present and I hope to get him back soon. I feel worde for a guild mate of mine though, he lost his entire mount collection.
I’ve been unable to log onto my main or even JFF alts I have scattered about.I did manage to log onto a lowbie mage and priest I have.
Some things are not showing up that should.Master of Anatomy shows up fine but neither Toughness nor Lifeblood do,despite those characters being more than qualified.Which kinda stinks since I wanted to see Lifeblood in action for myself.

in the motd login they mentioned not to contact the GMs about missing pets – it was a ‘display’ issue and the devs were working on it. No pets would be lost

Okay now Toughness is working.Still no Lifeblood though.
I got caught in the need to reinstall WoW, so I haven’t been live yet, still downloading patches. . .sigh.
Ugghhhh. Giving up for the night. Crazy lag etc. Hopefully it will be better after I grind sleep and work faction. :)
i saw lifeblood.its got a neat effect where tiny flowers sprout around you for a few seconds while it heals you (you need to have at least 75 in herbalism to get it it seems).checked some of my pets.wolf is still there thankfully.got a few of my alts their presiousemoths befor the server had to restart…
In spite of the little message at login saying all the realms were playable, I have yet to be able to log into Cenarion Circle. various things happen, none of them end up in a log in. for a while it was an error getting the player list. then it was a timeout and back to the realm list. now it kicks me back to the game login.
methinks not all is well in Blizzland. other servers have been up, and I’ve played them – albeit with some lag and more than onces with a punt. but those I could log into.

I’ve been waiting for Cenarion to come up, too. I just now got to my character list…but I’m stuck on the loading screen now. :< Fiddlesticks.

I’m still waiting for my realm to go up…well it is,but I can’t play at all >.> so as I wait, I see we have two built in add-ons, a threat meter which is mighty handy considering I never used add-ons :P and we have another one that will show the health and mana of the target which it just kinda cool to have in my eyes…and see what the hp for everything is, I guess it can help in arena for me and my partner considering we’ll be a dbl dps team (hunter and retadin) so we know when to hit our cds or just get a good crit in :D
who else thinks this is crap? realms take forever to load,but now they are up,but if you’re like me…you can see your char’s and everything,but once you try to login…the game locks up and you’re stuck there and can’t play. oh well I guess I’ll hit the sack now, hope everyone that can play right now is enjoying it.
Well Lifeblood finally showed up.Nice effect.
Yeah I wanted to get on Cenarion Circle too,but couldn’t.I’ve got a druid named Shimmermoon on there that I’ve wanted to get to Stormwind for awhile now.Just couldn’t bring myself to do that long a swim for the umpteenth time.
All my addons are dead as a doornail.If it wasn’t for the PTR testing,I would have forgotten how much I dislike Blizzard’s default setup.Hopefully some of my favorites will be updated for the patch.I want Omen at the very least.
At least all my macros didn’t disappear like they did a couple patches back.I wasn’t even able to recall them all after that.
Oh and I managed to get the “Going Down” achievement by walking off the lift at Thunder Bluff with a food buff and a Stamina scroll I had.
