Patch 3.0 Tomorrow!

Judging from the current Breaking News on the WoW login screen, we were right about Patch 3.0 hitting on Tuesday, October 14th.
As I type this, the downtime for Patch 3.0 starts in just over 25 hours. I can’t wait! But I’m going to have to — and longer than that, even, because they are estimating the downtime at 12 hours(!). But we will wait patiently, and our patience will be rewarded … with pets!
While you wait, make sure you put in some suggestions for Feed-O-Matic random phrases.
(And thanks to Algörithm for the tip about the login screen.)
[edit] And don’t forget to log out somewhere safe before the patch! Our talents are getting reset, and logging into the middle of combat with no talents is always a bummer.

So, guess it’s time to call dibs on any rare spawns you want… heh.
Weee! *giddy as a schoolgirl*
Uhk’loc is just itching to get out of the stables and start lvl’ing to 70
and first, apparently…
Already have my rare white Gorilla, Snowflake, in my stable waiting. Even though I’ll spec out as a 51 beastmaster, not going to get an exotic right away. I’m going to go the hunter/tank route instead of the hunter/DPS route. Well, gonna try it anyway.
Well I’d avoid wasting the talent points down to 51 in BM if you don’t want an exotic pet. First of all exotic pets don’t really buy you much. They get attention for a little while, but after that, they aren’t terribly helpful, especially in PvP where they become targets for fast kills.
I tested them all. Devilsaur, while they tend to make you constantly giggle, are very large and noisy, and don’t do as much damage as cats from my tests. Core Hounds which will be as popular on Tuesday also don’t tend to help much, even with lava breath.
After weeks of experimentation I found the best spec for me was 44/16/1. I took longevity in the BM tree, then went over to MM got 5 in Lethal Shots, 5 in Mortal Shots, 1 in the sweet new instant Aimed shot, 3 in Careful Aim (which dramatically boosts my attack power), and 2 in my precious Go For The Throat.
After this I was able to once again handle even the new Super Pallys that Blizz has burdened us with.
In addition, sadly, there is already a “Huntard” stigma with the exotics. People call them Pokemon Hunters. “Devilsaur! I choose you!”
I completely agree on the Gorilla though. He’s going to be a very sweet tank. Everyone on my server has been camping the cave for the white one with the blue face!
Now if they let Devilsaurs prowl, I’d go for it, just for the pure humor of an invisible T-Rex. Remember Bob from Dilbert? I want Blizzard to let the Devilsaurs prowl with a talent called “Tippy Toe.” Then I’d be all over it. They’re too funny as it is.
I disagree. the 51BM talent is worth it even if you never tame an exotic, you get 4 more points into your pet’s tree, which is equal to a 96 lvl pet when you hit 80. Can’t beat that with a stick.
I’ve also tried out exotics and they really are worth their weight in their specialized fields.
Some do look really cool but many have really snazzy species powers that are worth the talent. especially if you’re already a BM to start with. If you’re not, if you’re Marksman or survival, it’s probably not worth switching to 51 point BM to get um, but if you’re BM anyway, it’s well worth it.
My Corehound is just waiting for me.
Perhaps it depends on your purpose. Maybe when I have points to spare I’ll revisit them. I just know giving up the DPS for a cute pet leads to quick demise in PvP.
As far as beating it with a stick, that’s kinda exactly what warriors and pallys do!
*nod* I think it very much depends on your purpose. I don’t know if this is accurate or not, but I have the feeling that the gap — in happiness, if not in power — between PvE-oriented and PvP-oriented hunters is growing. Despite the fact that I am strictly PvE, I do hope that Blizzard closes that gap soon.
I love the look of the core hound also. Couple problems though, maybe they fixed them, I don’t know. The core hound is jerky on attack. It seems to be computing whether or not it is close enough to use lava breath. If you turn off lava breath, his attack speed is smooth like normal pets.
Also, since you won’t have GFTT, he will tend not to use lava breath constantly spamming his focus dump. So you have to choose between the focus dump and lava breath.
When using him, I found it best to keep lava breath turned off, and control it manually. Send him running up to caster, trigger Kill Command, then hit caster with with it.
The other problem is he dies fast. I know when I see one, I unload on it from across the field and kill it in a few seconds. I know the other hunter is just like me and when his pet is gone, I’ve pretty much killed him as well.
I reported the jerkyness to Blizz a few times, and others mentioned it in forums so hopefully that will be gone on patch day.
I’m primarily PvP, but I’m pretty happy. Lots of new stuff to play with. I see lots of hunters ragging on Disengage for instance, and I freaking LOVE it. It saves my life constantly!
For once we have a tool to help us gain distance. I totally own warriors with it and because of it have a chance to beat Pallys!
I’m getting all my papers and studying done before Tuesday cause if it does go live, as soon as my 2pm class finishes I’m speeding home to tame my devilsaur :D TAKE THAT MEG! You and MM hunter your boring raptor :P jk jk <3 <3
*crosses fingers that my pre-order of the CE WoTLK will be at Gamestop for the midnight release*
All right. I’m almost at 60 too, just three more levels. And then a Devilsaur will be MINE.
And I’ll name him Megatron, and all before me will fall. Yeeeeessss.
*Sigh* The fact that I cant get my hands on any “new” families (except for moths 8D) for like another 24 levels makes me sad. I guess the silithid wasps are going to remain untameable after all. BUT. Everything else makes me deliriously happy! The fact that I can go back and grab so many of my previous pets who didn’t work out is FAN-(Profanity)-TASTIC! Crocolisks, Serpents, Spiders Dragonhawks and Moths of Aszune prepare thyself, ON THE WAY!
WOOT yay ^^ inc devilsaur in sw! xD
@ Rykros
Dont worry mate. The wasps in Northrend use the same model as the Silithid ones.
So if you’re patient you will get one of them!
:)

Despite the fact that I am strictly PvE, I do hope that Blizzard closes that gap soon.
————-
I’m also PvE but sadly I can’t find a decent guild that is doing runs for PvE gear so i have to resort to getting PvP gear to keep up with demands for runs.
Ohwell, Hopefully with the expansion out I can get some decent gear :D I saw from BRK’s post that the new LW gear is actually wearable and provides decent stats.

Beastiarius, no insult intended, but if your useless without your pet, even as a beast master, your doing something wrong. I’ve been testing out PvP on the premade server lately, and on even ground, honestly, just about no one beats me, pet or not. This is taking into account people using this as an excuse to try out eighties without building them up, mind you. I still think I’ll have problems with straight out stun rogues, but as far as everything else went, I ran circles around them and filled them full of arrows, and it was so much easier then it is on live, thanks to masters call and disengage. The key to fighting rogues, warriors, and death knights is to make them waste their distance closers, then disengage out of it. Wing clip if you think you can afford it, disengage, then strafe until dead. A smart death knight will chains of ice you, but if your pet is still around all you need to do is masters call. Not to difficult, and with aimed shot being instant the whole run and gun deal is a lot more viable, in my opinion.
But seriously, the thought process that a beast master in PvP or PvE is useless without a pet needs to stop. It hurts your damage, sure, but your far from done. The only time I ever, and I mean EVER went down without being focused by three or more people in PvP was when I was OOM, which, sadly, happened more often then I like to admit. I’ll have to see how this translates on Tuesday to live, however.
Not “wasting” the point in beastmaster when not using an exotic pet. Not sure if you know or not Bestiarius, but you get an extra 4 points to put to your pet’s talent tree.
You should read up more on the changes, there’s a lot there. Please don’t just dismiss everything until you actually get out there and work with the new talents and pet talents for a while. And by a while I mean longer than the beta has been running since they’ve changed so much over the course of the beta and PTR. It’s going to take a while to figure all this out like it did when BC came out. There’s ‘best’ spec anymore nor is there a “pvp” spec vs a “pve” spec etc etc. Now it’s more the player, not the spec…which is how it should be.
No more cookie-cutter nonsense.
hmm.i think i need to go through all my alts.finish those runs to azure mist.then move my two mains and my ghost wolf to undercity or thunderbluff.holdfully kalimdor wont be crashing from all the people after devilsaurs, silithids, and presiouse moths…
Omg! omg! omg! Just when I was starting to L2P hunters a little everything changes ;D
The most awesomestiest™ and coolest char class is going to be even more awesome and fun! So many different pets, and different ways to train them, I love the diversity this will bring to hunters!
( ofcourse this news comes after i just spent like 4 hours setting up PTR client -_-’ )
I’ve always thought the Ahn-Qiraj mounts are about the coolest things evar.. Now I get to have one (Silithid) as a pet! *dies*
On a downside guess this means i’ll have to rewrite my hunter guide from scratch sometime in the future o_O
According to Wrathwiki, Blizzard’s people confirmed this on Friday at Blizzcon. There will be a second major patch coming in at the time that Wrath is released as well.
Wrath has also gone gold, and they’ve started production.
@ those that think the 51 point beast mastery talent is “useless”:
It is possible to get all the DPS boosting talents without the extra 4 points.
http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?petcalc=0md00fc0czz
Those 4 points, however, will add a ton of survivability
http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?petcalc=0VdM0fc0szk
In my humble opinion, It will be well worth my one talent point to give me more tools to keep my pet alive and gleefully tearing the throats out of the raid’s targets.
The specs I’m posting are examples of course, there is plenty of wiggle room, especially with the Beast Mastery talent.
Ganieda and Schrodinger, Argent Dawn
This morning when I logged on to check my banks and saw that message, I thought “WOW, madame Mania’s crystal ball is right on!”.
Have I been playing my lvl 70? Nope. Have I been leveling my lvls 61, 60, 47, two different 36′s, and 20 hunter? Nope – worse, I have been leveling a rogue and magic user (I know, I know sad indeed) with my granddaughter. :( Well, it looks like Missy will have to wait and for us to go get that big white monkey :)
It is a shame that some are saying that it looks like the cookie-cutter talent setup is gone. I hope not. Cookie-cutter works for both my granddaughter and myself since we don’t pvp. Take care.
I actually think bm is very powerful, I’m thinking of going for a build with 50/21/0, because I’m not a pet hunter like some people are and my other build is a tri spec of 9/51/11, either way I can’t wait for this patch
I can’t wait. One, I’m already ready for my new pet (core hound and maybe devilsaur…maybe…) and my polar bear ride. It just seems so far away still T-T
Yeah this is going to get me back in the game. Going to enjoy going after some new pets, my raptor is staying though. Too many good times to get rid of him ;3.
Anyone else feel like it’s christmas Eve? LOL
So excited about this patch, but I want my rhino now, I can’t wait, they’re too awesome for words :)
BM is far from useless without a pet. I can be near the top in dps during kara runs, even if my pet gets killed. Still need to get Sel’s gear enchanted, though.
I’ve been having a blast on the PTR trying out all the new pets. Still dislike devilsaurs, and I’m pretty much decided on a silithid and a chimaera, huge wingspan and all. Having worked with bats and such before, I found while taking it through BFD I didn’t mind the large wings a bit. I don’t know about the new pets dying easily. Even when I was trying a core hound, I didn’t find they died fast at all…but maybe that’s because I was trying him while soloing mara. /shrug Anyways, between my hunter and my priest, this new patch is gonna be a BLAST.
How can one say that the exotic pets are not worth it? with devilsaur’s family ability I can get his ap over 1k at 65 even with the cat’s rake it doesn’t add ap I tested the PTR for like a month now just testing pets and found devilsaur is imo going to be the best dps pet. and trust me the 4 extra points are great those nice new abilities at the bottom of the tree ya you can get all of them without crippling your pet higher in the tree. Also with the pet squishiness, Heart of the Phoenix is great instant rez. can’t tell you how many times I did a arena or bg and they got my pet it died boom back in your face by then I took out another easy kill. and a Silithid it’s skill is focus free as far as I can see that is a root and dot every like what few seconds unless I missed the loss of focus. “Pokemon Hunter”? Well if that is the case get use to it cause in pve now to get a devilsaur and in pvp later to get a rhino you are gonna see it alot and does that make players a Huntard? NO and why cause the class has changed so much not even the ppl that claim they got it down have it down. Welcome to the WOW get ready to relearn this wonderful thing we call the Hunter.
A new dawn for hunter pets looms over the horizon!
LET THE HUNT BEGIN! (im excited)
Grimlord,
Every class is going to have some relearning to do. The good news is, except for I think Paladins and Hunters, most of that relearning is going to be minor.
I don’t think that exotics aren’t worth it, but I think that the 51 pt skill is still much stronger than people give it credit for even without the exotics. Those last four points can give you all three top tier pet talents. Without it, you can get two.
As for the DPS thing, I think pets now have such utility that just looking at the DPS may be misleading. Not that it isn’t great, but some of those skills are very useful in a wide array of areas.
Oh man! I’M SO excited! :D New skills, NEW PETS! I can’t wait to track down some rare beauties :P Un’goro is going to be a zoo! and so is that cave where the white corehound spawns XD
*flies to King Mosh’s spawn point*
Now I play the waiting game…..
just remembered why I came here today, lol. Just to play it safe, don’t forget to remove your add-ons tonight before going to bed :) (with apologies to all for the below, lol)….
“Good hunting to all and to all a good night.”
“Hunters have never hurt anybody except the people who die.”
“And so, my fellow Hunters, ask not what your pet can do for you; ask what you can do for your pet.”
“A hunter miseducated is a hunter lost.”
“…How can one say that the exotic pets are not worth it? with devilsaur’s family ability I can get his ap over 1k at 65 even with the cat’s rake it doesn’t add ap I tested the PTR for like a month now just testing pets and found devilsaur is imo going to be the best dps pet…”
Well, I’ve only been testing at 70 so I’m not sure exactly what happens at 65, however on the cat I turn off Rake. I let it do just claw like in the good old days. I don’t rely on the (ruined) kill command. I get a dramatic increase in continuous DPS. Claw’s immediate and continuous damage is overall better than the very low rend effect of rake. I’m finding this approach seems to generate better DPS for me than kill command/special attacks, particularly with the focus problems I get from not having GFTT.
Also when I’m looking at DPS, I’m looking at the overall DPS of hunter and pet combined. Instead of wasting the points in the upper levels of BM, I go deeper in the MM tree which with Core Aim gives me a fantastic bump in attack power. In addition I’m able to get Aimed Shot, which is instant, and Go For the Throat allowing Pet to do more damage as he is able to generate more focus. In addition I have Hawkeye from the Survival Tree giving me distance with all the added attack power. My crit is currently 34%.
Overall, avoiding the exotic pets and kindred spirits (at least at 70) works out better for me, as my primary interest is PvP.
I’m only talking about day one here, level 70 and leveling to 80, and level 70 PvP, which is freaking brutal on hunters right now. Level 70 hunters deep in the BM tree won’t be able to compete on the same level as Pallys, locks, etc. The added DPS you’re able to unload after using disengage to distance from melee or mage for instance is the difference between success and fail.
I’m thinking the general philosophy will hold, even at level 80 though. I’ll have to wait and see, but I’m thinking that 42/29/0 might give me the most overall DPS at 80, or 42/28/1 cause I like that distance, whatever. There is a lot to play with. Admittedly I think primarily in terms of PvP.
I also know that the big showy exotic pets are big showy exotic targets in PvP situations. Pets are targets for fast kills now no matter what though, and having the added DPS on the hunter could save him.
The nice thing is that there are many options now, many more viable ways to play. Everyone won’t be 41/20/0 anymore. We shouldn’t all have the cookie cutter build, at least not for a while.
sei-
Why is it you have to play devil’s advocate to everything I say you just agreed with me on majority of what I said and the #’s are in the devilsaur really does do more dps now if you are not looking for just raw dps cool more stuff to choose from but yes they do more dps so if you ARE looking for more dps devilsaur is the pick for that. And as we both stated even without the fact you can get exotic pets the 4 points are useful in and of themselves because yes you get all 3 bottom tier talents and with the tank pets that comes in handy ALOT. All pets have usefulness in a given situation and fights. All classes might have to relearn a little but not only to hunters have to learn to respec themselves but pets as well and finding the synergy in picking what works for them and pet alike. I think hunters will have alot more relearning then even the pallies. If you are a pvp hunter that is fine but do not over look the exotic pets and the skills they use. For alot of the fanboy hunters yes stick with your cats and dive into the MM tree as u see fit but until you see what all aspects of the hunter can do saying a hunter that goes bm is a huntard only shows you don’t really know the class just the MM tree of the class and the pvp aspects of it I went into arenas and bgs and held my own against pallies, locks, and all other classes as bm and did the MM and survival trees as well and even when my pets were attacked they held it together and if they are big targets fine more time for me to unload on the poor sob wasting time attacking my pet. All trees of the class are viable now not just a cookie cutter “Your-a-noob-if-you-don’t-have-this-spec” way. I say to all enjoy all this hunter love we have waited a damn long time for it.
I can’t wait to get my white core hound, I just hope I don’t get there and have to duke it out with the other hunters that want it. Although, I’m out of play time, and don’t have any money to spare atm, so it looks like I’ll be alone on that front in two weeks. Anywho, the 51 poin spec is definitely worth it just for the 4 extra pet talent points.
Just as a side note… I just jumped into an Arathi Basin on the PTR. As usual, the Alliance was camped in the GY. When I spawned in, a hunter had left a frost trip at the spawn point. I went inside the hall deeper. Sure enough in comes Troll Hunter with Devilsaur. Humar and I destroyed him. We’re both in full season 2 gear. I sat down, half health left and ate. Troll Hunter came back, got the first shots in, and Humar and I still killed him. I don’t think he could see around his own devilsaur to effectively attack me.
Hey for you Core Hound folks, can you tell me if the casting speed debuff works on anything other than “official” casters or is casting speed hampered on hunters and/or/especially Pallys?
I can hardly wait for this patch!
I’ve been playing beta and am BM spec, with the extra 51 point exotic pet talent. Even though I still mainly use my non exotic cat, those extra pet skills that come with exotic pets is so worth it.
Also, the white core hound-the only mob that has that now is the Kurken on the Draenei starter isle. I’d wait for about a week to tame him, as there literally will be a line of players of both factions camping his cave to tame him as soon as the patch goes up. That’s how it is on the beta realm right now…there are ALWAYS players in his cave, waiting to tame the two headed doggie. I might pick him up later, but not tommorrow!
I might tame a non exotic boar though. I miss having a boar on my hunter, but havent picked one up because I don’t want to have to level it. Auto leveling FTW.
I’m far, far more excited about this patch than a 25 year old really should be!!!
I’m still not entirely decided what pets I’m going to go for. I’m currently leaning towards a red SM hyena, a blue chimera from Winterspring and possibly a dragonhawk on my main. Not too sure about my other hunter, though I do quite fancy a moth of some kind.
Definitely steering clear of the really highly desirable pets for the time being though. I pity the poor little Draenei trying to complete the Kurken quest!!!
I thought of Megatron too, for a devilsaur name, but…
Its restricted. Sorry guys :(
So, Im wondering about something…..If Beastial swiftness is moved to the pet talent trees and removed from the hunter BM only tree..do all hunters get the 20% increased attack speed boost? That was the best thing about being a BM hunter. The BM hunter shot rotation destroyed the MM and Surv abilities. If they are giving the 20% increased attack speed to all hunters no matter what spec, Im rolling MM to produce the most dmg possible by stacking the crazy AP with the 20% attack speed.
Er, I think you’re thinking of Serpents Swiftness, which is still a BM talent. Bestial swiftness only boosts your pet’s movement speed.
lol, Thank you for correcting me….see what taking a 5 month break does to you. Sorry for the misunderstanding guys. Now Im going to leave after making my self look like a noob :P
Yay! The PTR is shutting down!
Won’t be long now!
I agree, even if you don’t want an exotic, the 51-BM talent can still be worth it, as you can get all 3 top-tier pet skills (or more of the lower tier ones). It’s as if your pet was level 96, talent-wise.
I also have always been a BM hunter, and I plan on getting a few exotic pets. The white core hound is a must for me (Will probably be a non-solo pet though). I do want to get a Worm as a solo pet, as their ability looks useful. I still haven’t decided on a cunning pet…don’t know if I’ll go exotic for that one. And I definitely want a Rhino for PvP. Charge + Disengage can make me pretty far away from a pesky close combat warrior, rogue, paladin, e.t.c. Plus who wouldn’t want a huge rhino for a pet?
I’m planning to go to Azuremyst, although there will be lots of competition. I’m pretty sure the town where you catch the boat to Azuremyst will be a warzone.
Sei likes to argue. *Huggles Sei* *Coughs* Anyway, I’ve never done exact cookie cutter specs. I hate cookie cutter, to be perfectly honest, or at least the idea that people come to a talent build based off some one elses ‘best min/max’ spec. I will respec as many times as I need to until a spec feels right to me, min/max be damned.
Palla: I couldn’t agree more.
And as for Sei, well, Sei has always brought very interesting views to the table, thus why I decided to immortalize Sei with my future Hyena’s new name XD
WOOOT PTR DOWN. Wow, I’ve never been so happy over that. Well at least with that done, I just have to wait 25 hours til I can ride my bear, play with a corehond, and go mad over respeccing 20x cause I clicked 1 too many times on my talents =)
Gonna camp/log out in Un’goro, or around it, some where, today, to get the Epic Devilsaur. Speaking of which, I need to get on the “Name a Pet” entrees, for the message boards, for my (rename possible, I’m sure there could be a better name for him) white lion and the white Devilsaur.
Many people are saying, “OMG! I”M GONNA GET A DEVILSAUR (or core hound, or silithid, or whatever)!!” But really, I’m primarily interested in the new leveling scheme. I currently have one pet that’s my level and one more that’s 17 levels below me. The only pet I’m going for when the patch comes (for now, at least) is a red Durotar crab. Since it auto-levels, I won’t have to worry about leveling it. I’ve always wanted a crab… ^__^
I am considering a silithid, however. We’ll just see. ;D
So, my pets would be:
1) Thrombus the bat
2) The SM Hyena with no name :(
3) The crab :)
And we get five stable slots, correct? I guess the other two are going to be empty for the time being.
Quick question: Will we be able to tame EVERY new pet except the WotLK ones? Just Curious. :D
Good luck fellow hunters!
~Tashi
*psyched about worms*
Rhinos are out, those are restricted to Northrend, same with Spirit beasties.
so fricking excited about the new patch..im only a 25 at the moment so i know its stupid of me to get all excited but damn its so cool. the thought of me having a devilsaure makes me want to die out of anticipation. This is my final line up.
my plan for pets since we get 5 slots in the stables (so thats like 6 pets) is
1.Scion of Quetz’lun (76-77 Elite, Zul’Drak)
2.Vargul Blighthound (74-75, Zul’Drak)
3.Razorfang Ravager (61, Hellfire Peninsula)
4.Spawn of Uvuros (69, Shadowmoon Valley)
5.Ironhide Devilsaur (54-56 Elite, Un’Goro Crater)
6.Tundra Crawler (70, Borean Tundra)
May i remind you this is when im lvl 80. so i still have a LONG LONG way to go.
Rikaku: Wait, whats this about a polar bear mount? I’m missing something here :)
(And hurray for Devilsaur, its time to over-feed my raptor so he grows up big and strong!)
iflingpooatu: I was under the impression that it was four slots, so you’d have a total of 5 pets. Did I miss something?
So with all these pet changes, do I understand correctly that we now have to micro manage our pets focus? And to do this correctly, we should have macros to turn off pet skills? Or is this something I don’t have to worry about till the xpac? I’d love to know, if anyone out there can clue me in. :)
Gelannerai, five it is. Four slots, on active.
Glacia, its not as bad as you might think. There are certain skills that you might want to turn off of auto cast and use yourself, but generally you can afford to just go full on. Just remember, pets have everything now, growl and cower both as well as a focus dump and a family skill, so make sure you turn off cower when your soloing.
Palla and Glacia,
I find it better to turn off certain pet skills like Web on Spiders and use it when needed manually instead of using it all the time (or this was before they changed the cooldown)
Some skills you just want to turn off and use when needed.
Yup yup, meanwhile certain skills like stampede and thunderstomp will never autocast on single targets, forcing you to use them yourself in those situations. In a PvP standpoint, it all depends on the situation, really. With the new system of spell pushback, its good to hang back on interupts until they start casting something big and battle changing… namely heals. Slowing skills it all depends, though I often find myself using it right before I disengage, that way I don’t have to spend a GCD wing clipping.
AHMAHGAD I CAIN’T WAIT!!!!! FIREFLY HERE I COME!!!!
Whoo…New pets here I come. I am really excited about my new pets and their abilties, what im worried about IS Hunters are more Mush than ever Plus for all us pet Lovers out there has you seen how quick pets are killed now :*( /QQcry *sobs*
The only acceptable Transformers-themed name for a Devilsaur is Grimlock. XD
Well, went to Zangarmarsh and found Blacksting. wanted one of the black and white wasps, but they are not tamable, so i will have to settle for Blacksting. As soon as I found him, I logged out and started playing with my alt hunter. This leaves me two more spots… probably for Zarakh (again) and I want Trachela. So, that will fill out my stable slots. So… in Sargeras Realm, I have dibs on Blacksting. lol
neeed new tallstriderkin need new tallstrider skin ill die if they dont put one
in
The gap in happiness for PvP hunters feels huge. At least they are trying to fix us though. Hang in there guys. Tonight we are at rock bottom. Things can only get better within 12 hours.
I guess there’s no convincing some people when they’re set in their ways. It seems someone here has it all figured out and MM is THE PvP spec and nothing is going to change his mind about it because he killed one hunter that didn’t seem to know what he was doing.
Hey, however you want to play is fine. I just can’t tolerate when people get it in their heads that their way is the ONLY way. This patch is Blizzard’s attempt to get away from cookie-cutter specs and gear. But I suppose it will take time to beat that concept into the heads of some people. They’ll get it after a while.
i have a question:
If i where to tame a current caster pet(NetherSkate im aiming at), will its stats turn normal in 3.0?
Aguywithpizzas: Yup!
thanks mania ^_^ you’ve been a big help
forgot to ask this too:
If i where to tame a level 6(pygmy crab) today would it be changed for tomorrow?
Aguywithpizzas: Yup!
*grin*
awsome, going to tame me my pets the now ^^
gluck to everyone else
Just a note, if any of you were using the public test relm for this patch your download time will be seconds, not hours as anticipated ^^
My computer usually takes AGES but sinse I had my PTR for this patch it was literally about 23 seconds.
Have fun hunting ^.-
woot!
:) it’s like christmas morning!!!!
good luck to everyone on getting their new pets.
Personally I’ll be getting Nuramoc the second the game comes up :P and if, hopefully, maybe, please god please Qirot.
