Final Name: Illuminos
One of the reasons I enjoy the Name That Pet feature is because it lets me see the wide variety of pets that hunters tame — a variety that is likely to explode with Wrath.
And speaking of variety, today we have a request from a Tauren hunter named Kwaniahin from the realm of Kael’thas. Kwaniahin writes:
I have enjoyed reading your “Name That Pet” feature and wanted to try it out for one of my own, a spore bat I recently captured in Zangarmarsh.

Kisaki – Japanese for Queen/Empress
Shu – Chinese for Kind and Gentle

“Flyby” Name suggestion. I thought of that name when I looked at the Spore Bat. I don’t know why. lol
How about some of these names…. Deidare (me), Madare, sasuke, Itachi, Eliric, Alphonse, Uligurro, and Zetsu.
P.S. How do i get a picture were it normally should be, like beside my name if anyone can tell me that’d be cool.

Illuminos: latin, literally translates as ‘Of Light’
Deidare: This blog (and the forums) use the gravatar system. Basically you associate a pic with your e-mail address at gravatar.com and then when you use that e-mail to post here, the pic shows up.

I had a sporebat very briefly and my daughter suggested the name Blurp as thats the noise she imagined it making while it was hovering next to me :D (Blurp missed his family too much so was relased about a week later :P)
Well, for a start, we all know Sporebats arent a popular choice cause of their lack of skill, but seriously, i love your choice dude, so what if they dont have moves yet, especially if you’re BM.. Cobrah Relfexes and Frenzy will do (and besides, in WotLK they get a skill) Ive always loved how exotic they look.. but as for a name, i reakon you should make them the opposite of thier looks.. a quirky name thats still cute :D

Having problems, Deidare?
I know this is a retired string, but when i get my next appropriate hunter leveled up I want to get a Sporebat and name it Hallucigenia after the Cambrian invertabrate fossil found in my home country. Look it up on Wikipedia, I find the discription “bizarre and dream-like quality” very apt.
