Name That Pet: Sentrakh’s Coilfang Ray

Sentrakh, a troll hunter from the Crushridge realm, is looking for name suggestions for his Coilfang Ray. Sentrakh writes:
Ever since I first saw a Nether Ray, I’ve loved how unique they look, and always wanted one despite the fact that most of them have caster stats. Luckily, the only model that doesn’t is also my favorite :) .
I’d prefer something scientific for a name, but anything serious would be good. For example, some of Sentrakh’s previous pets were: Cristatus, a teal tallstrider (name originates from Pavo cristatus, the Indian Peacock); Deinonychus, a green raptor (name from the species of raptor called Deinonychus); and Archelon, a green turtle (Archelon was a species of prehistoric giant turtle).
That’s a tall order, but I’m sure we can think of something!

meh, just a bit. anyway, how about “rostoraja”? its a species of skate, related to stingrays and sharks.

lol, not copying Irwinn, but i was thinkin Crikey or maybe something like Jellyfish, or the scientific version of it, or Stingray
Himantura or Dasyatis? Dasyatid is the family name of the stingray.

i’m not just being a jerk. i actually do have a hunter named Irwinn on boulderfist and Steve Irwin was a national treasure for Australia… but even he would joke about how he came to his unfortunate death.
