1. First thing that came to mind when I saw it was “Cobalt”. “Sodalite” would work too, with the touches of white and pink on the pet’s wings. :)

3. Yeah, I’ve got to say Quartz as well…

   Or perhaps Opal?

   Just the shiny shiny Wind Serpent skin deserves something vaguely sparkly.

4. Basalt, Onyx, Quartzite, Gneiss all have color schemes that could fit to that Wind Serpent.

5. opal=Gemstone, usually white.
   titan=giant
   zest=bursting with energy

   Sapphire, Zircon, Lazuli, Opal, or Topaz?
   That’s all I got. :)

8. Howbout Cobalt? It is the only blue rock or metal (non-gem) I can think of.

9. Well ifs its rocks you want here you go Cobalt, Basalt, Dolostone, Mudstone, Shale, Obsidain, Quartz, Lutite, Arenite, or Rudite.

10. Azurite(or Azur) or Lazurite or even Crystal=P All are associated to eachother.

    Lazurite and Azurite are both blue crystals with Azurite being more deeply blue. And that windserpent model always reminds me of Crystal.

13. Well, naming a pet that flies after a rock can be difficult, since rocks don’t often fly. There is one instance though, and thats when they fall from space.

14. How about Golem….the mythological being thats basically a living rock.
    or simply…..Rocky or The Rock…sry not good at names lols

26. I’ve named all the Wind Serpents I’ve tamed Quetzalcoatl.

    But since you want a “stoneish” name, I’d suggest Quartzalcoatl =P

30. Hemitite…..you may want to check the spelling onthat one. Its the stone that looks like metle when its polished.

35. Well, after looking over what people suggested, I like the name Azurite. It seems like a perfectly fitting name for my Wind Serpent. Thanks all! =D

44. I vote for Kyanite.

    Kyanite is a sort of denim blue and white gem, and is very close to the color of those windserpents.

    Also Iolite, Indicolite, or Azurite might be good choices. ‘Sapphire’ is so…well… “done”, after all.

45. I like Azurite, Aquamarine, Cobalt, Saphire, LapisLazuli, all are relitively blue gems/rocks.

46. I second the vote for Lazuli. Lapis would also be good, but Lazuli just sounds cool.
