The original quote from Koraa that Mania linked to is that the pet would receive "the master's +hit%". Obviously, they may decide to implement it differently (or not at all), but that post definitely describes a 1:1 scaling ratio for hit chance.

Regarding the "resilience not working in dungeons" thing, I've heard that rumour as well, but have yet to find any kind of official confirmation of it. It has been rendered pretty much redundant in dungeons from a tanking point of view since druids not reach crit immunity from talents, while defence has long been a superior stat for the plate-wearing tanks, but I've yet to find anything to indicate that it won't work at all.

I heard resilence won't work in a dungeon in wotlk. Also Nimizar, you are way way off if you are even considering the scaling of hit is gonna be 1:1 ratio.

Also pointless to even think about scaling of dodge/expertise as we do not want them in our gear and you do not want to gimp yourself for the pet.

You need to see Kora's post in the Beta forums:

If we do it for Warlocks, we'll do it for Hunters too (%hit).

Regarding Resilience on pets, we feel we'd rather give the classes tools to keep their pet alive rather than giving them passive defense (we want you to care about keeping them alive, not ignoring them because you know it's impossible to kill them). If you're talking about a group environment, you can heal your pet and your group can heal your pet. The drawback to players attacking your pet is that they are essentially crowd-controlling themselves. Currently we feel (in PvP) that we've more or less achieved the right amount of survivability for the pet (without giving it Resilience). This of course changes all the time because of gear and scaling. If we feel the pet does not scale in terms of health with the master, we can make changes in that regard.

That said, if we find that pets aren't surviving as well in beta compared to live, then we can explore the possibility of increasing it's base defense.

This is bad news for the Tenacity tree. Resilience could have been a great stat to help pets take on tougher mobs in dungeons. Currently pets lack parry, block, defense, expertise, and resilience. All they have is dodge. Since parry, block, and expertise are associated with a weapon, it is unlikely we will ever see them on our pets. Resilience was probably our last chance at real defensive stats for our pets, although defense is possible.

Pet hit works just like Hunter hit, that is 9% chance to miss a 73 target.

The following affect pet hit.

Animal handler: 4%
Improved Faerie Fire: 3%
Heroic Inspiration: 1%
(Beta)Grace of the Mantis: 4%

My pet lasts an average of 2.61 seconds from starting to take damage from a rogue or a warrior and dying. Some GREAT CC there, Blizz!

The resilience I don't care so much about because I only PvP very casually, but the pet hit news is fantastic, because yes, against raid mobs pets miss a lot...
