Final Names: Bigglesworth (wolf) and Shelob (spider)
Today we have a double pet-naming request from a Blood Elf hunter from Suramar named Yesnumbrtwo. He writes:
I just need help with naming my new wolf, Snarler, from Feralas.
A simple request! But then he wrote back:
I forgot about my spider, who also needs a name!
I needed to crop it out in the thumbnail to the right, but in this combat shot Yesnumbrtwo is giving his spider the love and affection that all pets deserve, telling it: “You’re a GOOD spider, yes you are!!”
He also included a great screenshot of his third pet, a lovely white serpent named Slizzer.
P.S. I also am attaching a screenshot of me and my serpent, Slizzer, who I would never have tamed if I hadn’t seen him at a glance on your website!
Although Yesnumbrtwo didn’t write much about himself, I think this picture — with the cool helmet and the bombling pet — really shows off his personality.
So what can we do about that wolf and spider?
I can’t shake the impression that his character gives of “BioShock”. Since he’s the Big Daddy, then, it’s only natural (and sufficiently creepy) to think of naming the spider “Little Sister”.
…actually, I’ve never played BioShock, but the visuals made me think of what little I’ve seen of it.
As for the wolf, how about riffing off of the other thing I saw in that helmet: Jacques-Yves Cousteau. Call the wolf Calypso. ;)

So a “Bigglesworth” is definitely in order, though that might suit a cat slightly better!
“”Laser”" is quite a nice name too. Dunno if you can include quotation marks in the name ;)

BloodSpatter or just Spatter (my preference)

Morgim for the wolf, like the one in The Chronicles of Narnia.
Shelhob for the spider (like the one in Lord of the Rings, forgot how to spell her name right). Arachne would be good too.
