Re wolverines: I’m not so sure about this one. I hope I am wrong but there can be a lot of confusion around wolves and wolverines because of the way they are spelt. From what I understand the faction in question are linked to Arugal who was involved with the Worgen. This is part of the ‘faction war’ between the new Murloc race and the Wolvar. I can see Wolverines as beasts being on the table because they live in tundra in areas similar to the lowlands of Northrend. But I can’t see Arugal suddenly switching from wolves.

For the animal fans among you wolverines are mustelids which are related to badgers otters weasels and mink and are are totally different species to wolves.”

I ment wolverines, I know what they are. :)
Wolvar, are wolverine people. Not the worgen.

I know about the worgen and argul but those are different. The wolvar are a race of (( To quote a blizzard emploee “lil wolverine dudes”)) and are based on bipedal wolverine peoples. You can distinctly see the face markings (( and in other shots the tails))

Wolverines are indeed no relation to wolves (( other than being mammals)) and yes are in the weasel family.

I want a big pet wolverine for my hunter to sick on other things and make bite the face. :)

THere is some sort of trivia addon that a friend was using, it had a question about Grizzly Hills that said it had “Wolves, foxes and even snowy owls” so I am looking forward to that.. Keep your eye out for Fox and spotty black/white owls!

I never really bothered to see if they were humanoids or beasts >.> I was always just interested in ‘that is a mob that I need to kill NOWNOWNOW’ I only track humanoids in pvp lol. But that’s a sorry excuse from a hunter lol.

@ Kurdor, With the fact that pets auto lvl to within 5 lvls of the player’s lvl, you don’t have to have a “new” gorilla. And I’m praying they give Thunderstomp new ranks automatically each 10 lvls through to 80. (they got a new rank at 40 and 50 in live, but not 60 and 70)
