Can you check if differnt pet families have different modified base stats? Do cats still have +10% dmg, -2% health, etc? Or is it a completely level playing field now, with the talents making all the differences to stats?

Regarding Northrend pets, Ghostcrawler said they prefer to build all the new areas first, then go back over them to pick the beast families they want to make tamable.

I think the shoveltusks would certainly be a good option as a new family to make tamable.

Last time I checked, moths got Serenity Dust – a self-HoT for the pet. The AoE threat could be useful, and it’s an additional tool for keeping them alive, but it seemed a bit underwhelming to me.

Also, the “Smack” on Dark’s list is a focus dump ability similar to Bite and Claw (i.e. the 3 are identical other than for their icon and name), for those pet families where neither Bite nor Claw was appropriate. The gorilla family skill is still Thunderstomp.

Yeah in the never post moths show up as DPS pets. I will so get a moth and one day let it face Ragnaros to see if the flame or moth will win.

You can tame moths now? They where never tameable before. Those Royal Blue Flutters in the Dranei area where always very elegant looking, though it seems like they lost their blue dust trail somewhere since.
