Tiny Undead Spiders

Lilanis's spider Ssgra has become a tiny, tiny zombie!

Lilanis is a Draenei hunter who tamed a Myst Leecher from Bloodmyst Isle. Now Myst Leechers and their kin have an odd quirk — while the wild spiders are huge, the tamed spiders are much smaller than normal. And as you can see in the pic Lilanis sent to me, this can cause some funny results.

Lilanis writes:

Specifically, I got to the Wetlands and did the quest chain with the sunken ships and the undead crews. These undead can curse you turning your model into an undead like them temporarily. When I went there with Tora (my tiger) it turned into a “regular” undead-sized undead, but Ssgra got turned into an undead midget (Hmm… Maybe it was an undead gnome).

So that’s it. Nothing very important, just midget undead spiders.

Awww! Isn’t the tiny zombie Ssgra adorable?

  1. That curse is interesting. Any time I’ve had it cast on my pet it’s turned them into a female undead (2 different pets). Has anyone had their pet turned into a male undead? i.e.: can this be used as a means to discover your pet’s gender?

  2. Nope, every warlock minion turns into a female as well. Well, I dunno about felguards, never had one manage to land a shot, but all the others are female

  3. I tamed the named spider, same area, same type, red and black skin…lvl 19. Like you said, the wild ones are huge…

Well, leave it to me to delay the post but I took pictures of the new pet spider next to various vanity pets, including the spider from LBRS…they’re almost the same size!

  4. The unique one is Zarakh. One of my hunters has that spider tamed, I’ll have to give this a try. :) Very cool find.

  5. @axeface. yep, I actually got my Humar into a male undead.. looked kinda funny =p
@topic: daaaaw, gief undead gnomes! =D

  6. ive also had a pet turn into a male undead…. i was assisnting a friends back at like lvl 45 or closae to it and my King Bangalash turned into a male undead.

  7. I believe that all unamed pets are non-gender specific and, therefore, revert to female forms in cases like this.
In the two examples above, both of the male results came from pets that were named in the wild and had male names. King Bang and Humar (the Pride Lord)…King and Lord are both male titles.

  8. Haha i always knew thats why my frined look a little small trues out hes and undead! well gnome undead lol.
