Today was have an extremely handsome gorilla to name!
My avatar is Dochalliday, a hunter on the Lightbringer server and while raiding has forced my hand when it comes to one of my pets (no pet will out damage a ravager in a raid setting), I continue to enjoy exploring the many pet options that my other two stable slots afford me.
Recently I’ve wanted to examine the impact pet scaling would have on Thunderstomp perhaps making gorillas a useful leveling pet and thus set out to tame a Gorilla. I stumbled across the beautiful Uhk’loc and am now planning on using the magnificent beast to level come Wrath of the Lich King.
But first, I need a name. I don’t really RP but I take pride in my avatar, thus I would either want to use an epic sounding name (if it weren’t so cliched, Kong would fit the bill) or perhaps a humorous name (I used a bat named Chocula and a wind serpent named Puff for quite some time). Since there are no Gorilla cereal mascots I’m sadly at a loss. Hopefully you and your readers can help me out.
So let’s see what we can come up with!
We named our gorilla Thor.
After the nordic God, ye know.
Ama´er which means beautifull winter. Would fit the lovely white color.
Alagos, means storm
Bounty, you know those chocolate with coconut in :)
Felwithe, is a town in everquest 1, but the name fits with something white i think.

How about Koko, after the gorilla that learned to communicate through sign language? And it’s kind of cereal-related :)
I named my Gorilla Frostbite, since Northrend is kinda chilly maybe you should name him similar?

(Doc Holliday always said “Poker is an honest trade.” Doc Holiday was known for having the best poker face in the game, usually do to a combination of his illness and his affinity for mass quantities of alcohol.)

(As in the Tombstone of the Arizona territories and the O.K. Corral.)
3.) Ringo
(After Johnny Ringo, who in the movie “Tombstone” was killed by Doc holliday while taking the place of Wyatt Erp in a showdown unbeknownst to Erp.)
Now, of those suggestions, I really prefer Tombstone. :-)
To go with Dochalliday , the only answer that is obvious is

a funny name for a gorilla and you have cereal themed pets, well replace cocoa with koko in s cereal name. Here are my name ideas.

FirstChAoS: Often the pet’s owner will post a comment letting us know their final choice, although sometimes they e-mail me directly. Then I add a bolded note to the very top of the post with their choice so that readers who wander in months later don’t have to search for it in the comments. For example, Snowstrider chose ‘Blackice’ for his raptor, so I added that to the top of his post.

I like Asthock Lonewalker’s “yuki” but without anthing added ^^ Sounds Gorrila-ie and matches his color.

I have the same Gorilla Gorefiend pvp server ,love him and have found his stomp so very useful his stomp makes for a great aggro getter for a group of mobs I can also multi shot without pulling a group off him. also good for when I need to heal him when he is tanking more than I target.

All of my gorillas have been named George. (I also have the white one now.) Gotta watch him though. when in a party he like sniffing around in other people’s packs.
eather Wyatt or Erp but if neather of those sute your fancy I would go with Tombstone
What a coincidence, I just recently leveled my Uhk’loc to level 70 :-D, Well, I didn’t have much inspiration, but I named mine Astaroth (Huge giant from Soul Calibur, also in demonology a prince of Hell).

**Also, as Sandos said Snowflake, his original name was Nfumu Ngi (Meaning Gorilla in Fang, a language spoken in Africa), So maybe you could try something like Nfumungi.

I tamed Uhk’loc at 60 and he is STILL languishing behind me 54. Must start leveling him!

I know the name has already been chosen a few months back, but I too have this Gorilla as my pet. Even though a Ravager is best suited for Raids, I must say that his Thunderstomp AoE is by far one of the best pet skills out there for PvE. It holds aggro quite well on multiple targets for faster killing/questing/leveling. It took me a few days to find a appropriate name. I wanted to combine his Ice looks and his Lightning skills. I chose “Urikeye” which comes from “Eye of the Hurricane”, a combination of the ice shatters within a hurricane’s eye and the thunderstorms in a hurricane’s outer ring. He’s now level 80 and I carry him around with pride. His high-end skill “Roar of Sacrifice” allows it to take 30% of the damaged dealt on a friendly target (like yourself or party member) for 12 sec., making it useful in Instances. ::]
I just tamed this gorilla myself, and came across this page when Googling “gorilla names”. LOL
I named mine Kipling!
