Name That Pet (Remote Edition): Grimshott’s Boar

Final Name: Valkyrie

Grimshott, a level 62 hunter who recently transferred to my old home of Cenarion Circle, wrote me a few days ago asking if we could help name his new boar. Unfortunately I’m still backlogged with Name That Pet requests so I told him he’d have to wait.

But as it happens Grimshott is a character of Fikkle, one of the writers on the blog For the Horde. So he posted about his boar on his site, and now I am pointing you over there in the hopes that you will visit and help him find a great name.

So what are you waiting for? Go suggest boar names!

  1. Woot! Fikkle is so geeking out with your remote edition name that pet! He really is struggling with the name, and the fans will rise up and speak out, the boar will have a name!!!!!BTW, this is Sy, the other writer at 4thehorde.wordpress.com, and we totally endorse this site, and comment!!!!

  2. I had a thought. I know, every body DUCK!

Why not create a page with common recomended names that people can look at to get ideas or even choose if they want. It’s an idea, and I expect it’s a lot of work too.

As with my humor, no suggestion is ever expected to be a winner.

  3. That’s one reason I added the Name That Pet page in the top menu. In addition to instructions for requesting naming help, it also lists out all the previous Name That Pet posts so you check out similar pets for ideas.

Hmm … I never posted that I added that page, did I? Sheesh. I’ll forget my own head next.

  4. Well, no worries. Sometimes the brain comes up with ideas everyone else has already thought of.

As they say, great minds think alike.
