I think you should name it Shiranui, as in the white wolf from Japanese culture who was said to have killed the giant 9-headed dragon Orochi. Shiranui is the Japanese word for things such as white fire, like will-o-the-wisp. Shiranui was so white and magnificent, he looked like a shining wraith while running. That could be a great name.

Why not try Epiphany? Rather girly, I know but there is a fierce background behind the thought process which creates the "epiphany"

Karma, because it has something to do with reincarnation and stuff.
Or Omen, like the one from the Festival of the Moon.

For all of my names I usually use Google, by typing "Ghost Wolf Name" in goodle search bar I found a book called none other than "Ghost Wolf". I am sure if you research the book a little further you can find out the name of the "Ghost Wolf" depicted in the book.

In Tolkien's Elvish Spirit Wolf seems neat...so you can any one of the 3 words for spirit, and add wolf to the end. Or Mist Wolf works...ah the Gamer in me...lol.

Spirit:: Fëa / Sulë / Thulë

Wolf:: Draug

Mist:: His / Hìsië / Hith
