Katta is currently a seasoned hunter, having tamed some of the most exoctic pets that she has ever come across. Humar the Pridelord and the Ghost Saber beckoned to her the most, so she let loose her previous Duststalker and Shadowclaw in favor of these two.
I caught a post on WoW Insider this morning about a new area on the PTR. Well, not a new area, exactly — the landscape itself has been there for awhile, but now it’s populated and has a purpose (some daily quest or other). But more to the point: it’s populated with level 70 ravagers!
Meet the Razorthorn Ravager, a level 70 ravager from Razorthorn Rise on the border between Hellfire Penninsula and Terokkar Forest. This ravager does not know any skills when tamed and seems to be in all ways a perfectly normal ravager. It uses the same appearance as the Enraged Ravager from Bloodmyst Isle.
There was a time, long ago, when hunters could have a lot of fun coordinating their mounts with their pets. In some cases, you could even get non-combat pets into the mix, say with a Black War Wolf mount, a Blackrock Worg hunter pet, and a Worg Pup.

With so much going on — from the 2.4.0 Public Test Realm being up, to the dual events (Lunar Festival and Love is in the Air) currently in progress — I haven’t posted a Name That Pet segment yet this week. So let’s take a short break from all the excitement and instead focus on helping out Tevbryn, a level 28 Blood Elf hunter from the Duskwood realm.
