I don’t know if someone pointed it out before, but your description is slightly wrong. They’re not moose-like, they’re boars with one moose antler on their forehead. That doesn’t make them all that mooselike. Also, they’re not huge. They’re quite small compared to other northrend beasts, and most of them, except the higher level males, are smaller than, say, a kodo mount or even a horse/skeletal horse. They may have looked huge in the images Blizz released at start, but they aren’t.

The shovel tusk isnt to big to tame most of all the creatures you tame shrink so would the shovel tusk. But i do agree its ugly and i wouldnt want it as a pet. I hope they put something completely deferent then whats in all of azeroth and outlands.

I’m really voteing on these to be tameable just because of how different they are! Point being we really desperately need more exotic and rare pets. Just and overall variety so that we aren’t all basically running around with the same pets!!!!

I dont think that these will be tamable (I wouldn’t want one if they were.) but I do think that a Northerend faction will use them as mounts, and you can get one when you become exalted.

We’re not going to be able to tame these. There’s no way they’d allow it.

But, as Mactuft already said, let’s hope they’re available as mounts. (Exalted with the Kalu’ak, perhaps?)

“Humanoid” is entirely different from “Human.” What about Ahn’Qiraj, too? It’s not like these Humanoid versions of odd things are even slightly new to Warcraft. Nerubians themselves are humanoids, and they’ve been around (since I don’t know their first appearance) at least Warcraft II.

That said, I like the Shovel Tusk. It looks interesting, but its in-game model does it more justice than the concept art does. The Concept makes its one big horn look a bit wonky.

We should be able to tame moths imo :P they could have an awesome pet race-specific spell that slows ppl with spores or something like that. :P
