Community Round-Up: Better Late Than Never – Part Two
Continuing down the path of using up my backlog of cool links since I don’t have much time to post again this week, we have … more cool links you should check out!
Someone (the Altaholic on Wildhammer EU) has posted Part 1(!) of his long-awaiting conclusions from Taming the Whole WoW. He also put up a great list of some of the most important points to remember when you want to solo instances with a hunter.
Kestrel of Kestrel’s Aerie (now at a new domain!) posted some quick and handy pet macros. Although I’m not a big macro user, I was particularly attracted to the one that casts Mend Pet and Scorpid Sting at the start of a fight to keep your pet healthy automatically.
And while I’m on the topic, a couple of people took the opportiunity to respond to my question about what pets you have on their own blogs. I saw Znodis respond at The Mystic Hunter, as well as Faeldray at Petoholics Anonymous. Arvelen of The Farstrider Scout also posted about his pets. His blog is pretty new, but you should check it out. (Also, his real name is Forrest and I once got in trouble at a summer camp with a boy named Forrest. It’s a funny story, actually, although perhaps not appropriate for this post.) Anyway, if you posted your own tale on your own blog, let me know!
Finally, on the more philosophical side: Breana of Gun Lovin’ Dwarf Chick posted a nice meditation on WoW burnout called A Lesson from a Caterpillar. And Brehm of Bremm’s Musings posted a great list of things he found out the hard way.

Hey quick comment. On mmo-champion they show a blue post stating they’re not going to make the ghost wolves untamable. Have you heard anything about that?

While I have answered on my own blog as well, I’ve been so busy on my own end that I’ve kinda forgotten sending a link to the post. :)

Pretty new blog, and it’ll probably take time ’til I get everything that’s to be written… written *blush*
Those pet macros indeed are pretty handy, utilising one similar to the second one presented myself.
