Stable Masters are glitched and steal your pets if you try to switch them. They get locked into the stable and while one will appear to be with you, entering an instance, switching continents, and possibly taking a flight path will all result in your pett disappearing back into the stable and the game saying you have no active pet. A hunter with 3 pets tested with me and reported that the results were a bad version of the old "stable-stacking" trick, where your third pet is now stuck on top of another and all 3 are inaccessable. If you need more info or someone to help as a test subject, I'm Dragonsong on the PvE PTR realm.
