Community Round-Up: Talents, Gems, and the Headless Horseman
I spend too much time every day reading through new blog posts on Google Reader. I often star interesting posts to share here, but then I get behind and forget — and when I do get around to sharing the links it’s been weeks and I’m posting really old news! But regardless, the following posts are worth reading (if you haven’t already).
Lassirra at The Hunter’s Mark has posted the remaining sections of her series on hunter talents. Part 2 is all about the Marksmanship tree while Part 3 tackles Beast Mastery talents. In addition, she has also started an infomative new series on hunter gear enhancements. The first post is called Gear Enhancements for Hunters Part 1: Gems.
And speaking of gems, Girl Meets WoW has the reminder to share: Are You Forgetting Your Free Gems? Girl Meets WoW also has a nice write-up of How to Call the Headless Horseman, which is especially handy given that the Hallow’s End event starts tomorrow.
On a completely unrelated note, I wanted to point out this inspiring post at The Delusional Hunter on being your best vs being THE best. And I’ve recently enjoyed reading some of the in-character writing over at the blog Into the Web. Check out the posts under the Story label.

Mania- IMPORTANT new development on the PTR. Stable Masters are glitched and steal your pets if you try to switch them. They get locked into the stable and while one will appear to be with you, entering an instance, switching continents, and possibly taking a flight path will all result in your pett disappearing back into the stable and the game saying you have no active pet. A hunter with 3 pets tested with me and reported that the results were a bad version of the old “stable-stacking” trick, where your third pet is now stuck on top of another and all 3 are inaccessable. If you need more info or someone to help as a test subject, I’m Dragonsong on the PvE PTR realm. Thanks, and I hope this reaches hunters on the PTR before they fall victim to it. :/

Celeglad - Yikes! That sounds awful. I just transferred my hunter alt yesterday, thanks for the warning.
