Eyonix let everyone know on the WoW General forum today that, as of the next major content patch, a number of items are becoming Bind on Pickup (BoP), including:
- Felbane Slugs
- Hellfire Shot
- Recipe: Elixir of Major Agility
- Formula: Enchant Bracer – Superior Healing
If you have one of these on your character already, it will bind to that character — so make sure you shift them around to be on the right character before then.
any sugestion why they will make the honor hold ammo bop?
the arrows from cenarius aren´t bop either und ist seems that they wont become bop in the next patch
so what´s reason for this?
Actually most projectiles you purchase from faction quartermasters are BoP already, looks like the HFP ones not binding was just an oversight which gets corrected.
According to wowhead, the cenarion expedition arrows are, in fact, BoP already – see http://www.wowhead.com/?item=24412
And last but not least, it actually stands to reason that projectiles you need reputation to purchase cannot be traded further afterwards.
well a hunter friend just helped me out in karazhan with some cenarion arrows (too many IAotH proccs ..) a few days ago so they can´t be bop on live servers at the moment
Now that’s interesting, wowdigger has them unbound as well, with only the AV and Halaa arrows BoP for the time being.
Educated guess: wowhead has updated from PTR data and cenarion goes BoP too.

i think you can only use them when you have the right reputation, that meens you can buy them by yourself anyway
I had my hunter friend ask me to buy him a ton of Halaani bullets for him prior to an instance run. To my dismay, and to the credit of us both being stupid, they were BoP. I’m a druid… I don’t need bullets. LOL

My high-level hunter bud had an engineer make him some CRAZY ammo for his gun, which add attack power and crit and they are SOCKETABLE!!!! Those things are WICKED!
