According to Hortus on Blizzard’s Test Realm forum, they have opened up pre-made character copies for the 2.2.0 PTR. That means that instead of (or in addition to) copying your own character to the Public Test Realm to check out the changes, you can also copy a pre-created level 70 character with an assortment of equipment. This gives you a chance to test changes you might not otherwise be able to, and ensures that the PTR will have a healthy population. Just remember to report any bugs you find!
