Petopia: Gutripper Taming Video
Gaujo of Draka sent me a link to his newest taming video, in which he solo tames Gutripper, the level 67 Elite black owl from Nagrand. Unlike Gaujo’s other taming videos (for a Bloodseeker Bat and the Son of Hakkar), Gutripper is easy enough to get to — so this video is a bit shorter than those. On the other hand, Gutripper is immune to frost trap, so it’s a short, dangerous tame. *grin* In particular, watch Gaujo’s health race the taming channel bar down to zero!

I took the time and tameed the Son of Hakkar with the info on the video. The info was great on how to get to the area where Hakkar roams. I tried several times. It starts out great I pull begin taming he hits trap. Comes out of trap and hits me with stunning effect which takes me out of taming mode. What finally worked was setting two traps. I waited until the solo one came. Set one trap in his path then another trap closer to the middle stairs safe area. Now with the 10sec cc I don’t know if this is possible. I have not seen if any other hunters had the same problem. Just a fyi the information my no longer be valid.
