Drysc, one of the Blizzard Community Managers, posted a lengthy explanation of the daze mechanic (when monsters daze you as you are running from them) on the WoW General forum. It seems to be in response to players saying that they are being dazed a lot more often in the Outlands than they used to be in Azeroth and asking what changed. Although this isn’t strictly related to hunters — and in particular has nothing to do with our daze abilities (i.e. Concussive Shot), I thought it was useful enough to share. For example, I had no idea that a creature must be behind you to daze you. I just never noticed.
